Message from the President

Thank you for your continued understanding and support.

Our company, formerly known as Sumitomo Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. （SCEC）, has accumulated a history of more than 60 years.
All of our employees would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your exceptional support and encouragement.
And now, in order to make a further leap forward, we have welcomed JFE Engineering Corporation as a shareholder and will take a new step forward as JFE Plant Technology Co., Ltd..

Since its foundation in 1964, We have an extensive track record in plant construction in Japan and overseas in a wide range of fields, including petrochemicals, inorganic chemicals, fine chemicals such as pharmaceutical intermediates and agrochemicals, high-performance chemicals for automotive and electronic component applications, and high-purity chemical solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.

By taking over these business foundations, maintaining a close collaborative relationship with the Sumitomo Chemical Group as before, and by combining JFE Engineering's management resources and business know-how, we believe we can develop businesses with even higher added value than before.

We provide optimal solutions for the entire plant lifecycle by working closely with our customers from basic design to detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, while placing the highest priority on safety and compliance. Through plant engineering, we will actively contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, including carbon neutrality.
